Cradle
Holds the take-up package and is adjustable upto a conicity of 0° 0'~5° 57', the maximum take-up package dia being 285 mm.
 
Auto cradle - lifting device
In case the thread is cut off or the tack up is finished the cradle will be lifted automatically.
 
Over-feed roller
Appropriate take-up tension is obtained by means of providing faster rotation of over-feed roller than that of take-up drum.
 
Dropper
In case the thread is cut off, supply of thread will be stopped by the action of dropper and at the same time cradle lifting device will come into action.
 
Cradle tension device
Prevents variation of contact pressure due to weight change of take-up package by mechanical means.
 
Guide roller
Take-up tension is controlled by the change of contact angle of the over-feed roller which is done through adjusting the guide roller position.
